Paul Scholes predicts where Chelsea and Man United will finish

Paul Scholes has his say about Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal's top-four hopes in the Premier League this season

Paul Scholes believes that Chelsea will be crowned champions and Manchester United will finish third in the Premier League this season.

The Blues are the leading candidates to win the Premier League title this term after their brilliant form under new boss Antonio Conte.

The west London side are the heavy favourites to win the top-flight title in May after Conte’s side built an eight-point lead at the top of the table.

Manchester United, meanwhile, still have work to do if they want to finish in the top four this season, with Jose Mourinho’s men currently sixth in the table.

Scholes is also expecting to see Manchester City finish in the top four and says the last Champions League qualification spot will come down to a straight shootout between Liverpool and Arsenal.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, Scholes said: “Chelsea, City, United and then it’s between Arsenal and Liverpool.”
