Pedro reveals what’s changed under Antonio Conte at Chelsea

Pedro Rodriguez reveals the main changes that have happened under Antonio Conte at Chelsea this season

Pedro Rodriguez has revealed that he and his Chelsea team-mates are being pushed to work harder than ever under new manager Antonio Conte this season.

The Blues have been the Premier League’s top performing team this season following Conte’s appointment as the club’s new manager back in May.

Chelsea have been in fine form in the Premier League this season and have build an eight-point lead at the top of the table.

The west London side have been installed as the heavy favourites to win the title this season following their strong start under Conte.

And Pedro has revealed the main differences between Jose Mourinho’s regime and that of Conte this season.

Speaking to Chelsea’s website, Pedro said: “This is the best moment for me at this club, and also the best moment for the whole team since I’ve been here.

“Always, in training, it is about hard work, especially with this coach, when we have to work on many aspects we will need during the games.

“We are running more, working hard on different situations that will come up and also working on shooting. So we are doing all these things in training, but the most important thing is that everybody is putting in the hard work.

“We are working together for the same things and it’s easier to focus in the games when you are playing with confidence.”

Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley at Turf Moor in the Premier League last weekend.
