Alex Iwobi takes to social media to reveal his disappointment after Arsenal's surprise 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the Premier League

Alex Iwobi has taken to social media to reveal his disappointment after Arsenal’s 2-1 loss to Watford in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

The north London side slumped to a shock defeat by the Hornets at The Emirates as Arsene Wenger’s men lost crucial ground in the title race.

Iwobi pulled a goal back for Arsenal in the second half in north London after the visitors went 2-0 up inside 13 minutes at The Emirates.

However, the north Londoners were unable to conjure an equaliser as they fell nine points behind leaders Chelsea in the race for the title.

Wenger must now prepare his side for their crunch clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday lunchtime.

And Iwobi took to social media after the game to deliver his verdict to Arsenal fans.

Iwobi shared the photo above on Instagram and wrote the caption: “Disappointing Result , Gotta Pick Our Heads Up & Go Again 💪🏽… Happy To Have Marked My 50th Appearance For @Arsenal With A Goal ⚽️ #AFC #BIG17”
