Ander Herrera warned Manchester United that they still face a tough assignment at Saint-Etienne despite their impressive 3-0 win in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 clash.

Manchester United broke the deadlock in the first half thanks to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s deflected free-kick in the 15th minute to put the hosts in command of the European tie.

The Red Devils extended their lead after the break when Ibrahimovic netted his fourth goal of the European campaign in the second half.

Saint-Etienne had opportunities to score what would have been a vital away goal but Jose Mourinho’s side appeared to end the French side’s slim hopes of a comeback with a third late on.

Ibrahimovic won a penalty which the experienced striker duly dispatched to score his 17th goal against Saint-Etienne in all competitions.

Manchester United midfielder Herrera, though, wasn’t underestimating Saint-Etienne ahead of next Wednesday’s second leg despite the Red Devils’s commanding aggregate lead.

Herrera posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“Good result but will be tough away 🔴👍🏼#europaleague @manchesterunited”
