Ander Herrera has taken to social media to reveal his delight at helping Manchester United beat Watford 2-0 at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Juan Mata opened the scoring for the Red Devils in the first half after being found by Anthony Martial.

The French striker then added another himself after the break to wrap up the three points for Jose Mourinho’s men and keep them in the hunt for a Champions League qualification spot.

Manchester United are now unbeaten in 16 Premier League games under Mourinho but dropped down into sixth place in the table after Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Tottenham later on Saturday.

However, Herrera was clearly thrilled to play his part in helping Manchester United claim all three points in front of their home fans.

Herrera posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Good performance and 3 more points 🔴😁 @manchesterunited”
