Cesc Fabregas headed back to Barcelona to catch up with Lionel Messi and Gerard Pique after Chelsea’s thumping win over Arsenal on Saturday.

Fabregas came off the bench to score Chelsea’s third goal with a deft lob and put the result beyond doubt at Stamford Bridge.

The win left Chelsea nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table as Antonio Conte’s men look to win the Premier League title in the Italian’s first season at the club.

Conte has given his Chelsea squad some welcome days off ahead of their return to action against Burnley in the Premier League next weekend.

And Fabregas made the most of his time off by enjoying a trip to Barcelona to catch up with his former team-mates, Messi and Pique.

Messi shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Comida con amigos …”
