Pedro Rodriguez and Diego Costa got on the score sheet in what was a straightforward fifth-round tie for the Premier League leaders at Molineux.
Tottenham were handed a trickier assignment as Mauricio Pochettino’s side made the short trip across London to take on Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Harry Kane scored the fifth hat-trick of his Tottenham career so far to secure Spurs’s place in the last eight of England’s prestigious cup competition.
