Antonio Conte was a surprise spectator as the Chelsea manager watched Tottenham Hotspur ease to a 3-0 win against Fulham in the FA Cup fifth round on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues secured their place in the quarter-final draw on Saturday evening thanks to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Pedro Rodriguez and Diego Costa got on the score sheet in what was a straightforward fifth-round tie for the Premier League leaders at Molineux.

Tottenham were handed a trickier assignment as Mauricio Pochettino’s side made the short trip across London to take on Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Harry Kane scored the fifth hat-trick of his Tottenham career so far to secure Spurs’s place in the last eight of England’s prestigious cup competition.

And Conte watched Spurs ease to into the quarter-finals in the stands at Craven Cottage as the Chelsea manager set tongues wagging about the purpose of his visit to Fulham.

Chelsea are eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
