David Luiz does not look to be letting his injury struggles at Chelsea get him down

David Luiz looked to be in high spirits as he wrestled Chelsea TV presenter Lee Parker to the floor during training at Cobham on Friday morning.

The Brazilian defender is set to be rested by the west London side for the trip to Wolves in the FA Cup on Saturday night as he bids to shake off his niggling knee problem.

Luiz has been one of Chelsea’s top performers this season and has been a regular fixture in the heart of the Blues’ defence to help them build an eight-point lead at the top of the table.

And despite his injury problems, Luiz seemed to be in good shape as he messed around during training, along with Chelsea youngster Nathaniel Chalobah.

Chelsea shared the picture above on the club’s official Instagram feed and wrote the caption: “@chalobah with the three-count as @davidluiz_4 pins Chelsea TV’s Lee Parker before training today! 😂 #CFC #Chelsea”
