Eric Bailly has taken to social media to celebrate Manchester United’s progress in the Europa League on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils secured their spot in the last 16 of Europe’s second tier club competition with a 1-0 win over Saint-Etienne on Wednesday thanks to Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s 16th-minute goal.
The victory wrapped up a 4-0 aggregate win for the Red Devils and secured their spot in the next round.
Bailly was sent off for two bookable offences but the Ivorian did not appear to let that get him down.
The defender posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account after the game and wrote the caption: “To the next round ✅ 👊🏾”
Manchester United now turn their attentions towards their EFL Cup clash against Southampton at Wembley on Sunday afternoon as they bid to win their first major trophy of the season under Jose Mourinho.
The Red Devils lifted the Community Shield on their last trip to Wembley in August after beating Leicester City.
