Hector Bellerin has taken to social media to thank his followers for their support after Arsenal’s disappointing 3-1 loss to Chelsea on Saturday.

The Spanish defender suffered a heavy blow when he clashed with Marcos Alonso as the Spaniard scored Chelsea’s opening goal in the 13th minute at Stamford Bridge.

Bellerin had to be substituted shortly after and was replaced by Gabriel Paulista in west London.

Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas went on to score for the hosts to help the west London side wrap up the three points and all but end Arsenal’s Premier League title hopes.

Bellerin posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Sunday and wrote the caption: “…Thank you for all the messages. I’m recovering well at home and will soon be back on the pitch to help the team fight back! ”
