John Terry has taken to social media to pay tribute to Pedro and Diego Costa after the pair fired Chelsea to a 2-0 win over Wolves in the FA Cup on Saturday night.

Terry was handed a rare start for the Blues and the Chelsea captain did not disappoint as he helped the west London side keep a clean sheet on their way towards victory.

After a goalless first half, Pedro and Costa struck after the break to secure Chelsea’s place in the sixth-round draw.

And Chelsea captain Terry used his personal Instagram account to congratulate Pedro and Costa on their goals after the Blues continued their march towards a domestic double this season.

Terry shared the photo above on the app and wrote the caption: “Tough game today but most importantly a good win and into the next round. Well done boys 👊🏻

“Superb away support from the fans today as always. Well done @_pedro17_ ⚽ and @diego.costa ⚽ @chelseafc”

Chelsea now turn their attentions back to Premier League affairs and their home clash against Swansea City next weekend.
