Bastian Schweinsteiger is staying as healthy as possible as he bids to break back into the Manchester United first team
Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social media to reveal his healthy breakfast as the midfielder bids to break back into the Manchester United team.
The German World Cup winner has found his first team opportunities severely restricted this season following Jose Mourinho’s appointment as the club’s new manager back in May.
Indeed, Schweinsteiger is yet to make a single appearance for Manchester United in the Premier League this term.
The veteran midfielder will be hoping to feature for the Red Devils when Mourinho’s men return to Europa League action on Thursday night with the first leg of their last-32 tie against Saint-Etienne.
And the 32-year-old is clearly making sure that he is in top shape as he bids to try and break into the team at Old Trafford.
Schweinsteiger posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Good morning! 🍽”
Manchester United were 2-0 winners over Watford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
