Marcos Alonso takes to social media to celebrate Chelsea's impressive 3-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday

Marcos Alonso has taken to social media to celebrate Chelsea’s impressive 3-1 win over Arsenal in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Spanish midfielder has been in impressive form the Blues since his arrival at the club from Fiorentina in the summer transfer window.

And Alonso continued his run in the Chelsea side by scoring the Blues’ opener in their comfortable victory over the Gunners at Stamford Bridge.

Eden Hazard then added a second goal with a superb solo effort after the break, before Cesc Fabregas netted a third late on.

Arsenal substitute Olivier Giroud scored a consolation goal for the Gunners but it was too little, too late for Arsene Wenger’s men.

The result left Chelsea as the heavy favourites to win the Premier League title this season.

And Alonso was clearly delighted to play his part in the win.

He posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account after the game and wrote the caption: “Vamooooos! London is Blue! 🔵👊🏼#StamfordBridge #CHEARS #PL @chelseafc”
