Marcos Alonso takes to social media in the wake of Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Burnley on Sunday

Marcos Alonso has taken to social media to insist that he and his Chelsea team-mates would take the positives from their 1-1 draw with Burnley on Sunday.

The Blues were held to a draw by the Clarets at Turf Moor after Robbie Brady cancelled out Pedro Rodriguez’s opener.

The result meant that Chelsea missed the chance to pull 12 points clear at the top of the table but it still left them 10 points ahead of second-placed Tottenham in the race for the title.

And Alonso insisted that he was feeling positive after the game despite the disappointment of two dropped points for the Blues.

Alonso posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account after the game and wrote the caption: “Not a bad point in a difficult stadium. Good rest and hard training this week to be ready next Saturday for the FA Cup! 🔵 @chelseafc”

Chelsea now turn their attentions back towards the FA Cup and their clash with Wolves next weekend.
