Pedro Rodriguez was pleased to play his part in helping Chelsea take a point from their Premier League clash with Burnley

Pedro Rodriguez took to social media to reveal his delight at helping Chelsea claim a point from their Premier League clash with Burnley on Sunday afternoon.

The Spaniard scored the opener in the seventh minute at Turf Moor, before his strike was cancelled out by Robbie Brady for the equaliser.

The result meant that Chelsea missed the chance to move 12 points clear at the top of the table but the Blues are still 10 points ahead of second-placed Tottenham.

And Pedro took to social media to reflect on the result after the game as Chelsea took another small step towards winning the Premier League title.

Pedro posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “One more point – one game less. We are on it! Come on Chelsea @chelseafc #CFC ⚽️🔵‬”

Chelsea now turn their attentions back to FA Cup affairs and their clash with Wolves next weekend.
