Piers Morgan vents Arsenal anger on Twitter after Chelsea defeat

Piers Morgan is not a happy man after Arsenal's 3-1 loss to Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday

Piers Morgan has taken to social media to express his anger at suggestions that Arsene Wenger could be set to be offered a new contract at Arsenal in the wake of Saturday’s 3-1 loss to Chelsea.

The north London side were comfortably beaten by the Blues at Stamford Bridge as they suffered an all but fatal blow to their title hopes.

The result left Arsenal languishing 12 points behind the leaders Chelsea and looking set for a battle to keep alive their hopes of a top-four finish.

There have been suggestions in the British media that Wenger, whose current contract expires in the summer, could be offered a new deal at the end of the season.

However, celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan was not at all pleased to learn about the rumours in the wake of Saturday’s humiliating loss at Stamford Bridge.

Morgan tweeted on Sunday:
