Eden Hazard was the star of the show for the Blues as Antonio Conte’s men secured a thumping win over their bitter local rivals to take a step closer towards winning the title.
Goals from Marcos Alonso, Hazard and Cesc Fabregas wrapped up the three points for the Blues, before substitute Oliver Giroud netted a late consolation goal for the visitors.
Ozil failed to make much of an impact on the game as the Gunners were sent crashing to a damaging defeat by the Blues.
And former Tottenham man has talked up the impact Hazard has in big games, while highlighting that Ozil often fails to perform in the crunch clashes for Arsenal.
Writing in his column for The Daily Mail, the former England boss said: “Given that Chelsea are so good as a unit, it’s hard to single out an individual, but Eden Hazard was outstanding on Saturday.
“When you play the big games, you want your big players to step up. That’s exactly what he did.
“The contrast with Mesut Ozil was unavoidable. The bigger the game, the better Hazard plays.
“For Ozil, despite his record as a World Cup winner and a La Liga champion at Real Madrid, you feel it’s the opposite.”
