Paul Ince has credited N’Golo Kante with being one of the main driving forces behind Chelsea’s Premier League title bid this season.

The French midfielder has continued his fine form this season after joining Chelsea from Leicester City last summer.

Kante earned plenty of praise for his performances for Leicester last season as he helped the Foxes win the Premier League title.

And the midfielder has continued his fine displays to help Antonio Conte’s men build a nine-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Ince has been hugely impressed by Kante’s displays this season and the Manchester United legend feels that it is no coincidence that the Blues are the favourites for the title with Kante in their ranks.

Writing in his blog for Paddy Power, Ince said: “You look at Kante, he was a huge part of Leicester winning the league this season.

“He’s gone to Chelsea, and they are favourites to do it this season. It’s no coincidence.

“He brings something huge to the team, he works so hard and his goal is to win.”
