Roy Keane: What I really think of Paul Pogba at Man United
Roy Keane questions Paul Pogba's behaviour during Manchester United's 3-0 win over Saint-Etienne
Roy Keane has questioned Paul Pogba’s behaviour in the wake of Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Saint-Etienne in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Pogba was in the headlines before and after the game after he came up against his older brother Florentin at Old Trafford during the clash.
The Frenchman was pictured with his two brothers and mother behind the scenes at Old Trafford on Thursday night after the game.
And it is fair to say that former Manchester United captain Keane was not particularly impressed by Pogba’s behaviour.
When asked if he was bothered by the brotherly show, former midfielder Keane told ITV Sport: “Yes, it does.
“The boy, Pogba, he’s a bit of a free spirit, a bit of a character.
“But I think it was a little bit over the top tonight – before the game and at half-time.
“They’ve spoke more tonight than I have to any of my brothers [Denis, Pat and Johnson] in the last five years.
“It’s all a bit strange. I think when the game started they were focused on the game.
“But all this stuff before and after the game, [it’s] a lot of nonsense – but that’s the modern player, I’m afraid.”
Pogba will be expecting to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils take on Blackburn Rovers in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The 23-year-old midfielder re-joined Manchester United last summer in a world-record transfer move from Juventus.
