Eden Hazard has become the first player in the Premier League to complete 100 dribbles this season, ahead of the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba.

Sanchez is fourth on the list, with 68 competed dribbles so far this season, while summer Manchester United signing Pogba is just behind on 59.

The Belgian playmaker continued his fine form on Saturday as he ran half the pitch at Stamford Bridge before scoring a wonder goal past Arsenal, as the weekend’s London derby also saw him become the first player to complete 100 dribbles this season.

Hazard has not only completed the most dribbles (101) in the Premier League, but is also the only player in the top ten dribblers in the league to have completed over 75 per cent of his dribbles.

It’s the combination of the amount of dribbles Hazard has completed alongside the completion ratio that make his such a frightening prospect to opposition defences.

In fact, there are only eight players in the entire Premier League that have even completed half as many dribbles as Hazard.

Dribbles completed in the Premier League this season

Eden Hazard – 101
Adama Traore – 92
Wilfried Zaha – 86
Alexis Sanchez – 68
Paul Pogba – 59
Michail Antonio – 59
Raheem Sterling – 58
Sofiane Boufal – 52
Sadio Mane – 51
Jack Wilshere – 50

Hazard’s mazy run through the Arsenal defence before putting Chelsea 2-0 up against Arsenal was one of 10 completed dribbles last weekend; the most of any Premier League player.

More impressive still is that Hazard completed 100 per cent of his dribbles attempted, and was also the only player in the league to complete an average of more than one dribble every 10 minutes.
