Alexis Sanchez has been nominated for the Premier League player of the month award for January, along with Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Seamus Coleman.
Whilst it may not have been the perfect month for Arsenal, Sanchez has certainly been on typically red-hot form, as the Data courtesy of EA SPORTS shows.
The Chilean has netted three times from a Premier League best 28 shots on goal. His ability to get into dangerous positions is highlighted by the fact that he has had more touches (45) than any other player in the opposition box, and also completed the second most dribbles in the Premier League.
The selfless side of his game is just as impressive, having completed the second most crosses in the Premier League, completed the fourth most passes in the opposition half and created the second most chances of any player throughout the month of January.
