Mesut Ozil looks set to sit out Arsenal’s clash against Sutton United in the FA Cup fifth round on Monday night.

The Germany international was unable to help the Gunners avoid a humiliating 5-1 loss to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash at Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

Arsenal have the chance to make a swift return to winning ways on Monday night when Arsene Wenger’s men line up against Non League side Sutton United in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Ozil, though, has dropped a major hint on Instagram that he won’t feature against their lowly opponents after the World Cup winner posted a motivational message on the photo-sharing app.

The former Real Madrid midfielder posted the above snap on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“We’ve had hard days here at @Arsenal after our last match! But we have to find focus again, Gooners! Wish you a successful week. ⚽ #COYG”
