The win for the Blues left Arsene Wenger’s men a staggering 12 points behind the Premier League leaders and with their title hopes in tatters.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game at Stamford Bridge, Henry was critical of his former side’s performance.
“I don’t know if Arsenal played into Chelsea’s hands today, I don’t even know if Arsenal played today,” Henry said.
“We knew exactly what to expect from Chelsea and we didn’t know what to expect from Arsenal.
“We talked about what they shouldn’t be doing against this Chelsea team, and that’s exactly what they did.
“You can’t come here and play against a team like that. It was a tough afternoon as we predicted before.”
The home side went ahead in the 13th minute when Marcos Alonso headed past Petr Cech from close range.
Eden Hazard then doubled the home side’s advantage in the 53rd minute when he embarked on a superb solo run and fired home from close range.
Substitute Cesc Fabregas added a third late on when he lobbed Petr Cech after a poor pass out from the Arsenal goalkeeper.
Arsenal substitute Olivier Giroud scored a late consolation but it was too little too late from the Gunners.
