Thierry Henry reacts to Eden Hazard’s display for Chelsea against Arsenal

Thierry Henry has his say on Eden Hazard's performance after Chelsea's 3-1 win over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday

Thierry Henry singled out Eden Hazard for special praise after the Belgian playmaker helped to inspire Chelsea to a thumping 3-1 win over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Belgian was in fine form for the Blues and scored Chelsea’s second goal to help send them on their way towards victory.

Marcos Alonso gave Chelsea the lead in the first half, before Hazard’s brilliant solo goal made it 2-0 shortly after half-time.

Cesc Fabregas then came off the bench to add a third, before Olivier Giroud netted a late consolation goal for Arsene Wenger’s men.

Hazard has been in much improved form under Antonio Conte at Chelsea this season and Henry was particularly impressed by the way the playmaker scored the Blues’ second goal at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking to Sky Sports after Chelsea’s win over Arsenal, Henry said: “It was a brilliant goal. Amazing.

“That’s what you want to see, a guy like him doing that more often than not.

“He knows exactly what he wants to do and I think he needs to do that more often. What a goal.”
