Thierry Henry: This is how many Arsenal players would get into the Chelsea team
Thierry Henry compares Arsenal to Chelsea as the race for the Premier League title hots up
Thierry Henry has claimed that only Alexis Sanchez would get into the Chelsea team on current form.
The Blues exerted their dominance over the Gunners last weekend when they secured an impressive 3-1 win over the north London side at Stamford Bridge to all but end Arsenal’s title hopes.
Chelsea now have the chance to pull 12 points clear at the top of the table if they beat Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.
Arsenal have been widely criticised for failing to perform in recent weeks as they slipped out of contention in the race for the Premier League title.
The Gunners were comfortably beaten by Antonio Conte’s Premier League title favourites last weekend.
And former Arsenal star Henry feels that the Gunners must overcome a mental stumbling block this season if they are to challenge for the title.
Speaking on Sky Sports on Saturday, Henry said: “Arsenal beat Chelsea here 3-0 [in September].
“At the end of the game how many Chelsea players would have got into Arsenal’s team?
“Maybe Diego Costa and N’Golo Kante. That’s it.
“Now after the defeat (last weekend) how many Chelsea players would you put in the Arsenal squad? Almost everybody but Sanchez.
“It’s a mental problem (Arsenal) are having at the moment. They need to believe that they can win. The quality is good enough.”
Arsenal are currently third in the table and level on points with second-placed Tottenham.
