Caglar Soyuncu has revealed that he would love to play for Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho in the future.

The Red Devils are likely to be linked with a host of new players as the summer transfer window draws ever nearer.

Manchester United did not sign any players in January but were one of the Premier League’s biggest spending clubs in the summer, bringing in the likes of Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly.

The 20-year-old Soyuncu currently plays for Bundesliga side Freiburg and has made 16 appearances so far this season.

It has been claimed that Manchester United have been keeping tabs on Soyuncu ahead of a potential summer transfer bid.

And the player’s recent comments about Manchester United boss Mourinho is likely to do little to quell the speculation linking the Red Devils with a possible summer swoop for the youngster.

Soyuncu is quoted as saying by The Daily Star: “I admire Jose Mourinho, not just his football but his philosophy.

“I would like to work with him in the future.”
