Ray Parlour states prediction for Wolves v Chelsea

The former Arsenal midfielder is tipping Chelsea to beat Wolves...

Ray Parlour is confident that Chelsea will ease to victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday afternoon.

The Premier League leaders are looking to complete the double in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge of the west London outfit.

Chelsea scored four goals in victories over Peterborough United and Brentford in the previous two rounds of the FA Cup.

Conte’s side are eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City in the title race despite a disappointing 1-1 draw with Burnley last time out.

Wolves, meanwhile, provided one of the biggest upsets of the fourth round after Paul Lambert’s side were 2-1 winners against Premier League giants Liverpool.

Speaking to Alan Brazil Up Front podcast ahead of this weekend’s FA Cup fixtures, ex-Arsenal midfielder Parlour backed Chelsea to beat Wolves.

“John Terry will come back into the back four,” Parlour said.

“You will have Kurt Zouma playing. Cesc Fabregas will start. There is still loads of quality in that side. I expect Chelsea to get through.”

Chelsea finished in tenth place in the Premier League table last term.
