The 24-year-old midfielder has struggled to produce many sparkling performances for the Red Devils this season after joining Manchester United from Juventus for a world-record transfer fee last summer.
Pogba’s price-tag has inevitably led to lots of scrutiny about his performances at Old Trafford following his move to the club last year.
However, the French midfielder appears to be taking time to adapt to life playing under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford this season.
Former Manchester United midfielder Hargreaves feels that it will take time for Pogba to get used to life back at Old Trafford and has insisted that the world-record signing has not been too much below par thus far.
Speaking to BT Sport earlier this month, Hargreaves said: “Because the price tag is so high, people expect more from him, but I think he’s played well.
“People are judging him on that price tag and expecting more. But if you look at his body work over the last four seasons, that’s him and that’s what you’re getting.
“Can he do more? No question. He’s just turned 24 and it’s going to take time.”
Manchester United are currently fifth in the Premier League table as they prepare for their clash against West Brom after the international break.
