Antoine Griezmann has remained coy when quizzed about his future beyond the summer but says his agent has been taking “calls” from interested clubs.

The France international has been heavily linked with a possible summer transfer move to Manchester United as Jose Mourinho begins to turn his attentions towards bolstering his squad ahead of next season.

Real Madrid are another club said to be interested in signing Griezmann in the summer transfer window.

The attacker was asked about the speculation linking him with a possible switch to Atletico Madrid’s bitter local rivals, but gave little away about his future plans.

Griezmann is quoted as saying by Metro: “I cannot say yes or no, otherwise I will be in the sh**.

“You never know what will happen in football but jumping from Atletico to Real, I do not think it is very feasible.

“Very, very few players have done that, so I think it is dead [the idea].

“Eric Olhats, my sporting advisor, takes calls and speaks with me. We are happy to get these calls but for now, I am happy here and in a good mood.

“As I often say, I am here. When we speak about Real and Atletico, it is not good for the fans or the club.

“I continue to work hard, to enjoy my football and I am happy on the pitch.”

The France international has been in superb form for Atletico Madrid this season, scoring 15 goals and making seven assists in La Liga for the Spanish club.
