The Gunners head into their showdown with the Citizens having returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough on Monday night.
Manchester City, meanwhile, kept their top-four hopes alive with an impressive 3-0 win over Southampton to leave Pep Guardiola’s men in fourth place in the Premier League table.
Both sides will be desperate for FA Cup glory this season after disappointing campaigns both in Europe and the Premier League thus far.
And former Arsenal star Parlour feels that Sunday’s showdown is going to be an exciting game.
Speaking on the Alan Brazil Up Front podcast, Parlour said: “This could go either way.
“I was at the Emirates when it was a 2-2 draw. It was a game that swung both ways. There were mistakes at both ends. I think there will be more goals in this semi-final than the one between Chelsea and Spurs.”
Arsenal and Manchester City will already know their potential FA Cup final opponents by the time they kick off on Sunday, with Chelsea taking on Tottenham on Saturday evening in the other last-four clash.
