Pep Guardiola is looking to reach his first FA Cup final after the Spanish coach took over the reins from Manuel Pellegrini at the end of the 2015-16 season.
The Citizens drew 2-2 with Arsenal in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium last month despite dominating the top-flight clash in north London.
Arsenal have dominated the FA Cup in recent seasons after Arsene Wenger’s side won the competition in 2014 and 2015.
The Gunners crashed out of the Champions League following a 10-2 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich earlier this year, while Arsenal have fallen off the pace in the title race.
The club’s former defender Keown doesn’t expect Wenger’s men to beat Manchester City at Wembley.
“Sunday could be a significant day in Wenger’s future,” Keown told the Daily Mail.
“They will have had plenty of preparation and will be really well oiled for this game. City are capable of embarrassing any team in the Premier League.
“Twice this season I have watched City convincingly beat West Ham at the London Stadium. Wembley is the most similar to West Ham’s home in terms of that feeling of space.
“If City are afforded similar time and space at Wembley, Sunday could turn into a nightmare for Wenger.
“But if Wenger wins, he would be on course for his seventh FA Cup triumph. It would be viewed as a major victory and would be a good chance for him to announce his future plans.”
Keown added: “My prediction: City to win 2-1.”
Manchester City are in fourth place in the Premier League table and seven points adrift of sixth-placed Arsenal.
The Citizens have won their last two Premier League games in the top-four race.
