Michael Owen is backing Eden Hazard to fire Chelsea to victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The Blues head into the game fresh from their impressive 2-1 win over Manchester City in the Premier League on Wednesday night, when Hazard scored both goals in the first half for Antonio Conte’s men.
Hazard has been in superb form for the west London side so far this season and has scored 13 goals in the Premier League to help Chelsea build a seven-point lead at the top of the table.
And former Liverpool striker Owen is fully expecting Hazard to find the net for Chelsea on Saturday evening.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “Eden Hazard has scored three times in his last three games against Bournemouth and he continues to look sharp for the league leaders at a time when Diego Costa has perhaps gone off the boil a bit.
“Bournemouth have won their last two home Premier League games but I don’t expect them to halt the Blues’ march to the title.”
Chelsea are chasing a domestic double this season, with the Blues set to take on Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley later this month.
The Blues finished 10th in the Premier League and without a trophy in the wake of Jose Mourinho’s sacking last season.
