Ray Wilkins is backing Chelsea to ease to a comfortable win against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening.

The west London side will be looking to record back-to-back Premier League victories to edge one step closer to their first title under Antonio Conte.

The Blues were 2-1 winners against top-four rivals Manchester City in the Premier League on Wednesday night thanks to Eden Hazard’s double.

The Premier League leaders have only lost two games in their last 24 outings which has helped them to build a seven point lead over second-placed Tottenham.

Former Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder Wilkins believes Bournemouth will prove to be perfect opposition for Conte’s players on Saturday evening.

“Bournemouth play football and anyone who plays football against Chelsea leaves them open at the back,” Wilkins told the Alan Brazil Up Front podcast.

“Chelsea are so quick on the counter-attack. It’s almost embarrassing. I expect Chelsea to win quite comfortably.”
