Nigel Winterburn believes that Chelsea are only likely to drop points in their away trips to Everton and West Brom.

The west London side are the heavy favourites to win the Premier League title this season and are currently four-points clear of second-placed Tottenham heading into the final five games of the season.

Chelsea kept their title bid on track with a 4-2 win over Southampton on Tuesday night but Tottenham maintained the pressure on Antonio Conte’s side with a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

The Blues take on Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon, before Tottenham host local rivals Arsenal in the north London derby at White Hart Lane.

And former Arsenal star Winterburn feels that Chelsea are only likely to drop points in their away games against Everton and West Brom – but he admits even that is unlikely.

Speaking on Sky Sports News HQ on Thursday morning, Winterburn said: “You look at Chelsea it’s this weekend against Everton away and West Brom away (where they can drop points).

“Look at their home games, I can’t see them dropping points.

“The pressure is on Tottenham. Everyone is expecting them to win and Arsenal will look to spoil that.”
