Frank Lampard has admitted that he is a huge fan of Antonio Conte at Chelsea and has been impressed by the Italian’s impact at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have earned plenty of praise for the strong way in which they have started life under their new manager, with Chelsea having been the Premier League’s standout team this season.

Chelsea are currently flying seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table as they look to try and win a domestic double in Conte’s first season in charge.

The former Juventus coach has earned lots of praise for the way he has managed to transform Chelsea’s fortunes following their disastrous 10th-placed finish last term.

And Lampard has admitted that he has been thrilled by the impact Conte has had at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking on Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday, Lampard said: “It’s a really complete team, but you have to give the manager huge credit.

“I love his passion, Chelsea is my club and you love seeing someone on the line jumping up and down.

“And then after the game he doesn’t give much away, he flips from being this really charismatic manager on the touchline to being quite savvy with the media.”
