Glenn Hoddle says the Premier League title is still Chelsea’s to lose as the end of the season draws ever nearer.

The Blues have been the Premier League’s top performing team this season as they chase the title in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge at the club.

Conte was brought in as Jose Mourinho’s permanent successor last summer and has earned plenty of praise for the impact he has had at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are leading the way at the top of the Premier League table and are also through to the FA Cup semi-finals.

And former Tottenham Hotspur manager Hoddle is convinced that Chelsea are on course to win the title this season.

Speaking to BT Sport on Saturday night, Hoddle said: “It’s theirs to lose. Let’s be fair, it has been for the last couple of months.

“They had a blip against Palace but they bounced straight back against Man City. They’ve got their eyes on what they’re going to do.”

Chelsea’s remarkable upturn in form this season has been in stark contrast to their struggles last term, when they ended up 10th and without a trophy following Mourinho’s sacking.
