N’Golo Kante has promised Chelsea fans that he will do whatever it takes to improve his game in the coming seasons.

The France international has earned plenty of praise for his performances for Antonio Conte’s men since joining Chelsea from Leicester City in last summer’s transfer window.

Kante earned many new admirers last season as he helped Leicester City to win the Premier League title under Claudio Ranieri.

And the midfielder has continued his brilliant displays for the Blues to help Chelsea build a seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Kante helped Chelsea take another step towards winning the title by beating Manchester City 2-1 on Wednesday night.

And speaking before the game, Kante insisted that he was not getting carried away with his good form this season.

Kante told BT Sport: “I don’t feel special or like I’m one of the best players in the league. I think I can improve. I can do more and try sometimes to be more decisive.”
