N’Golo Kante has warned his Chelsea team-mates that they must keep focused in the title race as both Tottenham and Liverpool look to catch the Blues.

Chelsea took another small step towards winning the Premier League title this season when they secured an impressive 2-1 win over Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Tottenham managed to keep to within seven points of the Blues thanks to their 3-1 comeback win over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

Spurs have the chance to close the gap to Chelsea down to four points when they take on Watford at White Hart Lane on Saturday before the Blues’ trip to Bournemouth.

And Kante has talked up the importance of Chelsea staying focused in the race for the Premier League title this season.

Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ, Kante said: “The win against City was an important one. It was a hard game because City is a good team. But there are still eight games and we have to win six.

“Tottenham is a good team and they play very well, so it’s not done. We have to fight and maybe Tottenham and Liverpool are going to come back; we don’t know but we have to focus on our game for the title.”
