Eden Hazard has revealed that Antonio Conte differs greatly in his approach to management from former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

The Italian coach has earned plenty of praise for the impact he has had at Stamford Bridge since being brought in as Mourinho’s permanent successor last year.

Mourinho was sacked by the Blues in December 2015 after a dismal start to the season left Chelsea close to the relegation zone.

Conte has had a positive impact at Stamford Bridge this season and has steered Chelsea to the top of the Premier League table with six games left to play.

Hazard has now had almost a full season to work with Conte and the Belgian has explained how the Italian differs in style to former Blues boss Mourinho.

Hazard told Telefoot: “They have different methods. Conte works a great deal on tactics but Mourinho let it be.

“For me, I had great moments with Mourinho for two years and this year with Conte everything is going very well. I always take the positive from coaches.

“The two are different managers. They have always won, here and in the past.”

Chelsea are currently gearing up for their crunch FA Cup semi-final clash against Tottenham at Wembley on Saturday evening.
