Ian Wright has claimed that stopping Eden Hazard is the key to beating Chelsea ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham.

The Blues head into the game at Wembley looking to bounce back to winning ways after the disappointment of their 2-0 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.

Hazard was kept quiet by Ander Herrera at Old Trafford as Chelsea suffered a blow to their title ambitions.

Chelsea must now dust themselves down as they prepare for their crunch FA Cup semi-final against Spurs at Wembley on Saturday.

And former Arsenal star Wright feels that Chelsea are nullified whenever Hazard is marked out of the game.

Speaking on BBC Sport’s 606 podcast, Wright said: “Diego Costa looks like he isn’t here, Pedro doesn’t seem to be playing as well…

“If you put Eden Hazard under pressure [you stop him]. It doesn’t seem to be happening. It’s the right time for Spurs.”
