Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes Chelsea can exploit Tottenham Hotspur’s poor form at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday evening.

Spurs played their home games in the Champions League at Wembley earlier in the 2016-17 season but Mauricio Pochettino’s side struggled badly.

Tottenham lost to Bayer Leverkusen and Monaco at the home of English football before Spurs drew 2-2 with Genk in the second leg of their Europa League last 32.

Chelsea suffered a 2-0 loss to Tottenham at White Hart Lane in January after goals either side of half-time from England international Dele Alli.

Former Blues forward Hasselbaink believes Chelsea need to exploit Tottenham’s mental block at Wembley when the London rivals face off in the FA Cup last four on Saturday evening.

“It is a very important match for both teams,” Hasselbaink told Sky Sports News HQ.

“What is good for Chelsea is Tottenham hasn’t played really well in Wembley of late.

“The Champions League matches, they didn’t find their level at White Hart Lane. Chelsea need to exploit that.”

Chelsea are four points clear of Tottenham in the Premier League title race after Antonio Conte’s side lost 2-0 to bitter rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend.

The west London side won the FA Cup in 2012 but Spurs haven’t won the competition since 1991.
