Antonio Conte believes that the stage is set for a fascinating FA Cup showdown between Chelsea at Tottenham at Wembley on Saturday.

The Blues head into the game on the back of the disappointment of their 2-0 loss to Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday as the title race was blow wide open again.

Spurs have closed the gap to Chelsea down to just four points after their 4-0 win over Bournemouth at White Hart Lane on Saturday to leave the title race in the balance with six games left to play.

However, both London clubs will now have to put the Premier League race to one side as they prepare for their FA Cup semi-final clash at Wembley on Saturday night.

And Chelsea boss Conte feels that the game between the two London rivals will be an intriguing one.

Speaking at his post-match news conference at Old Trafford on Sunday, Conte said: “This is a game between two teams that are in contention to win the league this season.

“It’ll be an interesting game. We have five days to prepare for this game and then play to win.”
