Graeme Le Saux is backing Tottenham Hotspur to beat Chelsea in the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday evening.

The north London side will look to reach the FA Cup showpiece and win their first piece of silverware under Mauricio Pochettino after the Argentinian coach took over the reins in 2014.

Tottenham are in second place in the Premier League table and four points behind leaders Chelsea with six games to go in the title race.

Spurs were 2-0 winners against the west London side at White Hart Lane in January thanks to goals either side of half-time from England star Dele Alli.

Pochettino’s side struggled to perform to their usual high standards in the Champions League at Wembley this season after Spurs crashed out in the group stage.

However, former Chelsea defender Le Saux believes Tottenham are favourites to beat the Premier League leaders at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.

“Although the bigger pitch might prove a slight problem for Spurs as it has done in the past – they’ve won just once at Wembley since 2008 – I still slightly favour them. They’re just playing so well at the moment,” Le Saux told Betfair’s blog.

“As a result I think I favour a 2-1 Spurs win.”
