Stan Collymore has claimed that the winner of the Chelsea v Tottenham FA Cup semi-final will also go on to lift the Premier League trophy this season.

Tottenham have managed to blow the title race wide open again by successfully keeping the pressure on Antonio Conte’s men in the closing stages of the campaign.

Spurs beat Bournemouth 4-0 at White Hart Lane to crank up the pressure on the Blues before their London rivals were beaten 2-0 by Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The two London sides are now preparing to do battle in the semi-finals of the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday evening.

And former Liverpool star Collymore feels that the winner of the FA Cup clash will also go on to be crowned Premier League champions this term.

Collymore told Boyle Sports: “The winner for me not only gets a return visit to Wembley, but takes the biggest prize of them all – the league.”
