Didier Drogba has revealed his delight at the impact Antonio Conte has had since taking over at Chelsea last summer.

The Blues have established themselves as the firm favourites to win the Premier League title this season and have been in superb form under their new manager.

Their dramatic upturn in form has been in stark contrast to their struggles last term, when they ended up 10th and without a trophy following the sacking of Jose Mourinho in December 2015.

Chelsea are currently seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table as they prepare for their crunch clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

And Drogba has been delighted with Chelsea’s great form under their new manager this season.

“We are really strong, we play good football,” Drogba told Sky Sports.

“It’s an offensive team creating chances. It’s good to see Chelsea back at the level you expect them to be.”
