Andy Hinchcliffe has warned Jose Mourinho that he is set to endure an uncomfortable afternoon when Chelsea travel to Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Blues head into the game in fine form and looking to claim victory to take another step closer towards winning the Premier League title.

Chelsea are flying seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table as they chase the title in Antonio Conte’s first season at the club.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are fifth and facing an uphill battle to secure qualification for next season’s Champions League.

Chelsea have twice beaten Manchester United at Stamford Bridge this season – once in the Premier League and once in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

And Hinchcliffe believes that Mourinho is set to endure an uncomfortable afternoon against the Blues at Old Trafford.

Speaking on Sky Sports News HQ on Tuesday, Hinchcliffe said: “Chelsea are the better and stronger side regardless of where the game is being played.

“Manchester United just have to try and win the game. Maybe Mourinho will prove a point that his team is in transition and will get better.

“Chelsea won’t make life comfortable for Mourinho at all.”
