Niall Quinn has called on Arsenal to step their game up and perform when they take on Tottenham in Sunday’s crunch north London derby clash.

The game has taken on added significance for Spurs after the Lilywhites kept their title hopes alive by beating Crystal Palace 1-0 at Selhurst Park on Wednesday night.

Chelsea have the chance to move seven points clear of Tottenham once again when they take on Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs then host Arsenal at White Hart Lane in their north London derby showdown as they look to keep their title bid on track.

And former Arsenal star Quinn believes that Sunday’s game could end being a crunch clash for Arsene Wenger.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Quinn said: “It’s a massive game for Arsene Wenger.

“If his players have anything about them, to lift themselves and be a strong unit for a change, this is the time. The whole world will watch this game, Spurs going for the title.

“It’s set up for them to give Arsene Wenger the credit he deserves for everything he’s done at the club.

“This is the game and this is the performance.”
