Cesc Fabregas has warned his Chelsea team-mates that they are in for a stern test when they take on Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-finals on Saturday.

The Blues head into the game looking to return to winning ways after their 2-0 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League last weekend.

That result allowed Tottenham to slash Chelsea’s lead at the top of the table down to just four points as the title race hots up ahead of the final six games of the season.

However, the two London sides must now do battle at Wembley on Saturday for a place in the FA Cup final against either Arsenal or Manchester City.

And Fabregas believes that Tottenham will be confident of being able to beat Antonio Conte’s men at Wembley this weekend.

Fabregas told talkSPORT: “I’m sure they will believe they can beat us and we believe we can beat them – it’s on the day.

“Psychologically, football can be affected by results sometimes, but I believe every time we had a bad result this year, we bounced back very quickly and that says a lot about the team.”
