The former Arsenal striker believes Chelsea need to come up with a Plan B after Sunday's 2-0 loss at Manchester United

Ian Wright has warned Antonio Conte that he needs to come up with an alternative plan when Chelsea are struggling.

The Premier League leaders suffered a surprise 2-0 loss to bitter rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon to leave their title bid in doubt.

Goals from Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera in the Premier League clash inflicted upon Chelsea a fourth defeat of the 2016-17 top-flight campaign.

Chelsea struggled to get a foothold in the game as Herrera successfully harnessed PFA player of the year nominee Hazard at Old Trafford.

The Blues are four points ahead of second-placed Tottenham Hotspur after Spurs were 4-0 winners against Bournemouth at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.

Chelsea have now lost two of their last four Premier League game following losses to Crystal Palace and Manchester United.

Former Arsenal striker Wright explains what Conte must change at Chelsea in the final five weeks of the 2016-17 Premier League season.

“There needed to be more intensity,” Wright told BBC Radio’s 606 podcast.

“They need to find a Plan B, whether that means bring on Cesc Fabregas, keeping the ball more and take the sting out of the game. Teams will smell the blood in the water with Chelsea.”
