Paul Pogba has hailed Chelsea’s performances under Antonio Conte ahead of the Premier League leaders’s trip to Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

The France international’s former Juventus manager took over the reins at Stamford Bridge at the end of the 2015-16 season after the Blues finished in tenth place in the table.

Pogba won two Serie A titles under Conte before the retired defender opted to take charge of the Italian national team in 2014.

The versatile midfielder moved to the Premier League last summer after Pogba sealed a world-record move to his former club Manchester United under their new boss Jose Mourinho.

While Pogba has grown into the Premier League season, Conte has managed to transform Chelsea into clear title favourites thanks to his impressive tactics at the west London club.

And the Manchester United credited Conte with getting his Chelsea players to a new level ahead of their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

“They have a great team and everybody knows that. When you’re playing in the Premier League, you have to have a bit of luck as well but you create the luck,” Pogba told Manchester United’s website.

“They have a manager who pushes them and they have players who want to show the world that Chelsea are still alive and, last year, that didn’t happen. But you never know, that’s what the beautiful thing in the Premier League. You never know what’s going to happen. They’ve done good this season.”
